IT Monitoring Administrator (L2)

EXPERIENCE required to be considered:

• MUST have at least 5 years of experience in SolarWinds monitoring tools administration and System administration in an enterprise level company. SolarWinds Orion modules like NPM, SAM, NCM, WPM, VMAN, SRM and APEs. AND Distributed monitoring setup using SolarWinds.
• MUST have at least 2 years of experience working with SQL and Powershell scripting.
• Worked in ITIL process-based environment.
• Strong knowledge in Windows WMI monitoring concepts.
• Good understanding on Windows/Linux systems and application environment.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and topologies.

Technology skills:

Mandatory

• SolarWinds Orion monitoring tools administration.
• Powershell scripting.
• Good knowledge on ITIL v3 Incident/Problem and Change management process.

Preferred

• Good to have knowledge on Windows, Linux System administration skills.
• Knowledge on AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Knowledge on ServiceNow ITSM Integration.

Personal Skills:

• Able to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Fluent in English and the working country language.
• Working experience in an enterprise grade company with IT teams spread over the globe.
• Experience in managing a team of 3-5 persons or willing to take the management of such team as next step in his career.
• Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
